Jessica Sponsler, undergraduate, BSW, LSW, Spring 2009 - Fall 2009
Jessica completed her field placement and is currently working at Summit County Children Services as an intake worker. Jessica is a member of the Alpha Alpha Alpha Social Work Honor Society, Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society, and a member of the North America Scholar Consortium Honor Society. Jessica graduated in December 2009 and is planning on applying within 2 to 3 years for the Advance Standing Masters Degree program at Akron. Prior to her current employmentt, she completed one internship before at The Salvation Army in Wadsworth, OH and has volunteered in soup kitchens for many years. Jessica's interest in child welfare begins in intake; eventually progressing into protective. She also has a special interest in the Independent Living Program through Summit County Children Services.
