Kristie Baker, undergraduate, BSW, Senior, Summer 2008 - Fall 2008
Kristie will be completing her field placement at Stark County Department of Job and Family Services. Kristie's interests in child welfare are pointing to child protective services. In her current position, working in a hospital, she has seen some of the damage caused by child abuse and neglect. Along with her interest in addictions, she also has an interest in providing the chemically dependant and their families the opportunity to stop the cycle of addiction. Within the next five years, she would like to have completed her Graduate degree: focusing her attention on either family systems or the macro arena on a government level. She has put personal interests and hobbies on hold while she attends school.
