Bios: 2008 Fall Graduate

 

 

Lisa Hamilton-Green, BSW, LSW, UPP graduate

Lisa was hired at her field placement Summit County Children Services on January 12, 2009 and has completed her one year of service in the UPP. She continues to work for SCCS and plans to pursue her master's degree in the future.

Lisa Hamilton-Green, Alpha Alpha Alpha Social Work Honors Society

Lisa graduated from the UPP program in December 2008. She was a UPP member during the spring, summer, and fall semesters of 2008. Lisa's is currently working in child welfare as a protective worker, with a future desire to advocate for teens in the Independent Living Program. Lisa's past work experience included the position of a Help Me Grow Home Visitor & Service Coordinator, as well as, a CPST (Community Psychiatric & Services Treatment) Case Manager. Lisa's goal is to complete her Graduate Degree in Social Work, within the next 2-3 years.


Lisa is an active mother, raising two daughters, ages 10 and 12. She is involved, along with her children, acting in community theatre, going to the movies, swimming, and reading. Lisa has enjoyed participating in the UPP program and looks for to graduating this December!

On September 5, 2008, UPP students gathered at Kent State Stark stage to watch Lisa perform in "Doubt: A Parable."
